The organization supports more than 1,000 customers with a team bringing over 150 years of combined industry experience.
The company's expertise includes medium- and high-voltage cable systems, utility distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, cable accessories, and specialty engineered products. Metrowest's leadership team combines decades of field, engineering, manufacturing, and utility experience, enabling the company to provide consultative support throughout project development, procurement, and execution.
Our Team
Bill Henderson, CPMR, President (Principal)
Bill graduated from Ursinus College in Collegeville, PA with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics. He has been in the electrical business since graduating from college starting with Rockbestos Wire & Cable. He joined Metrowest Electric Sales in 1988. Bill is responsible for utility accounts throughout the state of Maine, including Central Maine Power (Avangrid) and Versant. He is also heavily involved with industrial, renewable and engineering accounts throughout Maine. Bill provides broad support to the Metrowest team throughout the territory and has played an integral role in developing and maintaining many of Metrowest Electric Sales' long-standing principal and customer relationships over the course of his career.
Ian Stangle, MBA, Vice President (Principal)
Ian joined Metrowest Electric Sales in June 2025. He holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Central Connecticut State University. Prior to joining Metrowest, Ian spent nearly 13 years in the power cable manufacturing industry, specializing in high-voltage power cable engineering, installation, and project execution. For eight years, he managed the profit and loss (P&L) performance of a business unit focused on the installation of high-voltage and subsea power cable systems, overseeing complex utility and infrastructure projects throughout the United States.
At Metrowest Electric Sales, he is responsible for IOUs in CT, MA, and NH. He also is leading strategic business development initiatives aimed at expanding the firm's market presence and strengthening customer partnerships throughout the Northeast and beyond.
Phil Delldonna, PE, Outside Sales Engineer
Phil has been in the Electric Utility industry since 1981. This includes 18 years at a major electric utility company in CT. Phil joined Metrowest in 1999. Phil has a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Hartford and is a Licensed Professional Engineer.
Justin Hookstadt, Outside Sales
Justin holds a bachelor's degree in Communication Studies from the University of Rhode Island and brings a diverse background in sales across multiple industries. Since joining Metrowest in 2023, he is responsible for managing the major C&I and utility accounts in upstate New York, while also overseeing key distributor relationships across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
Thomas Henderson, Outside Sales
Thomas has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He has been with Metrowest since 2021. He works in outside sales, managing outside communications with distributors across New England as well as handling logistics with our numerous factories.
Colin Henderson, Inside Sales Support
Colin has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern New Hampshire University. He supports the outside sales team working in a timely manner to facilitate estimates and orders. He joined Metrowest in 2022.
Mark Hookstadt, Outside Sales
Mark has been in the electrical industry working directly for switchgear and cable manufacturers since 1984. Mark graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a degree in Economics in 1980. He joined Metrowest Electric Sales in 2008. His responsibilities have included major account management for large Utility, Industrial and EPC firms in upstate New York and Southern New England.
Ed Sleight, Technical Cable Specialist
Ed graduated from Purdue University in 1963 with focus on Electrical Engineering. He was also a US Navy Officer from 1963-1967 on active duty. He worked for Kerite Cable Company from 1967 to 2018 in various positions from Direct Sales to Regional VP. He worked through Kerite's merger with Hubbell and then Marmon. This required responsibility for sales of other Hubbell Power Systems products and later Hendrix products. He provided technical assistance to Kerite engineering relating to customer projects, research projects and technical marketing endeavors. Life Member IEEE. He joined Metrowest Electric Sales in the beginning of 2018.
Tammy Colonair, Office & Inside Sales Manager
Tammy has been with Metrowest Electric Sales since 2014 and serves as Office & Inside Sales Manager. She oversees daily office operations, supports the outside sales team, manages key customer and manufacturer relationships, and helps drive sales growth across multiple product lines. Known for her strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and customer-focused approach, Tammy is dedicated to delivering exceptional service and ensuring projects and orders are handled efficiently from start to finish.
Rachael Smith, Inside Sales Support
Rachael joined Metrowest Electric Sales in 2025. She brings more than 14 years of experience in customer service, technical support, and client relationship management from roles at Dell EMC and FM (formerly FM Global). Recognized for her strong communication skills and collaborative mindset, Rachael supports customers, manufacturers, and the sales team to help ensure projects and orders progress efficiently from inquiry through completion.
Gina Lagor, Accounting
Gina has been with Metrowest Electric Sales since 1988. Gina is responsible for the organization and coordination of the daily accounting operations and transactions.
Standards of Practice/Our Code of Ethics
Metrowest Electric Sales Inc. is a long-time member of the National Electrical Manufacturers Representatives Association (NEMRA), a trade association of independent sales representatives in the electrical industry. NEMRA is organized to promote the continued growth and perpetuation of its members through the strengthening of their sales, marketing and management skills and to dramatize to the electrical industry, to customers and suppliers, the advantages to them of doing business through independent sales representatives.
To further these objectives and to bring them within practical reach of its members, the association develops and maintains programs and activities designed to help them conduct their businesses in an ethical, efficient and productive manner. To implement these worthy goals, members of NEMRA voluntarily subscribe to a code of ethics which urges them to refrain from:
- Willfully inducing a principle to break its contractual relationships with another representative.
- Willfully inducing an employee of another representative to breach his employment contract with his employer.
- Suggesting or agreeing to divide commissions with customers or those representing other than the representative's own principles.
- Slandering or libeling another representative, or impugning his intentions, motives, or actions.
- Betraying the confidence of other representatives or customers or principles.
